Yourdog Argentine Dog takes care of your dog's overall health and wellbeing. All Yourdog products contain tasty buffalo and chicken meat. We combine this with carefully selected vegetables, fruit and herbs to create the perfect food for your Argentine Dog.

Why Yourdog Argentine Dog

Rich in buffalo and poultry Made specifically for the Argentine Dog Contains chamomile, raspberries and celery Supports a healthy, shiny coat Maintains healthy gut flora Free from artificial colourings, flavourings and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Argentine Dog

Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs. We use meat from free-range, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and its rich colour, and it is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, which makes it very beneficial for health.

Poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry support good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious but also have other healthy properties. The crude fibre in vegetables is good for the gut and can, among other things, support digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the important natural antioxidants. Fruit can, for example, be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep the breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients support the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae and so on has a tradition going back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, certain ingredients are emphasised. Breed-specific complaints can be eased by the use of herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Vegetables, herbs and fruits specific to the Argentine Dog

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Argentine Dog. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Argentine Dog belongs. From these studies, and in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, we selected ingredients that have an optimal effect on the health and wellbeing of the Argentine Dog.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a genus in the daisy family. Chamomile is grown on a large scale in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name chamomile comes from Greek and means "ground apple", referring to its apple scent. Chamomile enjoys an excellent reputation in natural medicine.

We can add chamomile to Yourdog because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints relating to the stomach, gut, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a mildly calming effect on the dog and can therefore be used for dogs that are often stressed. It can also have a positive effect on dogs with a nervous digestion. It can reduce swelling and have an antiseptic effect.

Raspberries

The raspberry is a plant in the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. Raspberries have been cultivated since the Middle Ages and are naturally widespread throughout Europe.

Raspberries contain many substances that can support the dog's health, e.g. vitamins such as vitamin C, minerals such as manganese, and antioxidants. Raspberries are also low in sugar and calories and rich in good fibre.

Raspberries are added to our dog food for their anti-inflammatory properties and can make a positive contribution to the function of the immune system. Raspberries can also help maintain eyesight and a healthy cardiovascular system.

Celery

Celery is a plant in the umbellifer family. The plant is often found on the coast on damp ground.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains plenty of folic acid and potassium. Celery is also fat-free, high in fibre and very low in calories.

We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting dogs' immune and digestive systems. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, on muscle and nerve function thanks to vitamin A, and on keeping bones strong thanks to vitamin K.

Transition guidelines

If you are switching from another food brand to Yourdog, we recommend the following steps. In the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Let the dog get used to this for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important to let your dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost fully on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can give 100% Yourdog. If food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, this can affect its shelf life and taste. It is therefore important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to tip the food loose into the container, but to place it in the container together with the whole bag, sealed as well as possible.
