- Rückenlänge. Vom Halsansatz, da wo das Halsband liegt, bis zum Rutenansatz. Der Hund sollte dabei stehen, nicht sitzen.
- Brustumfang. An der breitesten Stelle, direkt hinter den Vorderbeinen. Zwei Finger sollten noch zwischen Band und Fell passen.
- Im Zweifel die größere Größe. Ein Mantel, der eng sitzt, scheuert am Hals. Einer, der zwei Zentimeter Luft hat, stört keinen Hund.

The soft lining and padding keep your dog nice and warm. The adjustable, elastic chest flap protects against cold and dirt, and thanks to the hook-and-loop fastener at the chest, the coat is easy to put on and take off. The narrow fit means the coat sits well without pinching. The coat is also water-repellent and can be washed at 30 degrees.
